Once again, the Jury members are ready to continue their search for young innovators in the Arab region. This time, permanent Jury members, Dr. Fouad Mrad and Inventor Rashed Ibrahim, headed to Morocco where the guest Juror,Dr. Mohammad Al Saeedi, joined them in choosing three contestants: Abdallah Chakroun, Noureddine Chihib from Morocco and Maha Al Amro from Saudi Arabia.
Next destination was Egypt where hundreds of applicants were present to meet the jury that included the local juror Dr. Maher Younan. The jurors had set some tough criteria for the selection; Abdallah Abu Zeid, Mohammed Ablah, Hisham Shaker and Rania Al Sayed secured their place to the next round of selection.
In Lebanon, the locally selected candidates were: Hind Hobeika, Sebouh Aghazarian, Nay Abi Ramia and Bilal Kaddouh. The jurors, including Dr. Daniel Asmar from Lebanon, also chose two Syrian innovators, Molham Kayali and Idriss Suleiman.
The last stop on the extensive Casting tour was in KSA where applicants from Afghanistan, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, KSA and Bahrain also participated. Only Ahmad El Ghazi from KSA was selected by our jurors that included Dr.Tarek Al Nafouri, from KSA.
As the Casting comes to an end, twenty seven hopeful innovators are heading to the next round of tough final selections in Qatar where they will face 13 jurors who are tasked with choosing the final 16 candidates who will join the program.
