Khaled Al Jumaily – Biography
Khalid Al Jumaily returns as the host of the second season of “Stars of Science”, to the greatest pleasure of the viewers, now familiar to his catchy tagline “We met in kindness and our next meeting will be as such. Goodnight”.
The friendly and dynamic host, 28 and hailing from Qatar, began his journey in the field of audiovisual media in 2006, within the French division of Radio Qatar. He worked there as a journalist and presenter for various shows, in which he notably conversed with prominent individuals in the Qatari society.
Then, he joined Qatar’s Foreign Information Agency, where he worked as an editor and news monitor.
Fan of sports, he got the chance to associate work and passion when he joined thereafter Al Dawri and Al Kass Channel, for which he covered local and international competitions, such as the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana, the 2008 European football championships in Switzerland and Austria, as well as the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Also in 2008, Al Jumaily participated in the coverage of the Qatari National Day, through the presentation of several live talk shows on the Doha channel, inaugurated especially for that occasion. He welcomed there officials, ministers, historians, artists, and many other figures.
Khalid is a graduate in law, business management and journalism, who masters the Arabic, English, and French languages.
He has many hobbies and interests, among them reading, travelling, composing music and singing.
