Rooda Al Qebaisi set out to improve the lives of event planners everywhere with her Dynamic VIP Seating Manager. Her invention streamlines the process of seating important guests at events while facilitating alternative arrangements in case of last-minute changes.

Ahmed’s passions lie within the field of innovation and empowering people around the world suffering from Celiac Disease to embrace and be proud of their illness. Celiac Disease is an inherited autoimmune disease, where the consumption of gluten overtime, hinders the body’s ability to take in the necessary nutrients during digestion.

Blending both his passions in neurosurgery and innovation, Walid applied to Stars of Science Season 10 with an idea that would contribute not only to patients’ wellbeing, but also to the innovation ecosystem in the Arab region.

“Plan ahead, adapt, and keep going”, the young and motivated Ghassan Oueidat, lives by this moto. His Stars of Science experience tested his limits, as he quickly learned the art of persevering through immense technical challenges.

About the Project

Sylia knew that the advent of commercial drones meant that families risked losing their privacy in their own homes. To combat this, she invented SkyCloak, the Home Privacy Drone Blocker, a device that detects commercial Wi-Fi or radio-controlled drones before jamming remote control signals and blocking any live video transmissions. With her device, drone hobbyists can enjoy using their devices while parents can rest assured that their privacy is protected.
